Dr Fynn is a specialist anaesthetist who has been in practice in Sydney for nearly 20 years. She was born in Scotland and obtained her medical degree at Dundee University. She was recruited by the NSW Department of Health and came to Sydney where she completed her Australian fellowship in anaesthesia (FANZCA) in 1999, in addition to her British fellowship (FRCA).

She has special interests in women’s health, urology, and ophthalmic surgery and strives to provide safe, caring, holistic health care in the perioperative setting.

She is an adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of Notre Dame, Australia and is a member of the Australian Society of Anaesthetists and the Day Case Anaesthesia Special Interest Group. She has full specialist registration with the NSW Medical Board and lives in Sydney with her 3 children.
